Software Solutions for Calibration, Leak Survey, & Emissions Monitoring

Explore SENSIT's Software Suite

SENSIT'S suite of gas leak detection software - SCAL-D, SCAL-N, GIS360, SYNC-IT, and SENSIT CONNECT - for gas detector calibration, leak survey, and emissions monitoring data.

Hardware Is Only Half The Story.

For more than 40 years, SENSIT has built gas detection, leak survey and emissions monitoring instruments trusted by natural gas utilities, environmental agencies and industrial operators worldwide. The software that turns those instruments into auditable records, compliance reports and operational intelligence is just as important — and we build that too.

This page introduces the five SENSIT gas leak detection software products and explains how to start an enquiry for the one that fits your operation.

Our Philosophy:

Own Your Device, Own Your Data.

Your calibration records, your leak survey maps and your emissions data belong to you — not a vendor. SENSIT software is designed around that principle. You decide where data lives, who sees it, and how it's exported. No vendor lock-in. No data held hostage. Whether you choose an on-premise install, a network deployment or our cloud portal, the data is yours to own, audit and act on.

SCAL-D

Desktop Calibration Data Management

Best for:

A single site running one or a small number of Smart-Cal 360 calibration stations.

SCAL-D is the desktop version of our calibration data management software. It connects directly to a Smart-Cal 360 station over USB and runs on the technician's PC, making it ideal for shops, depots and service centers that want a simple, self-contained solution.

What SCAL-D does for you:

Downloads and stores every bump test and calibration record from connected Smart-Cal 360 stations

Generates compliance-ready reports on demand

Notifies you of overdue or failed calibrations

Keeps a full audit history of instrument performance over time

Operates entirely offline — no internet connection required

SCAL-D is sold with a multi-year licence. Get in touch and we'll confirm which SENSIT instruments and calibration stations it supports for your fleet.

SCAL-N

Networked Calibration Data Management

Best for:

Utilities and large operators running multiple calibration stations across multiple sites.

SCAL-N is the network-deployed counterpart to SCAL-D. It pulls calibration records from any number of Smart-Cal 360 stations across your company network, regardless of physical location, into one central database — without requiring internet connectivity. All technicians, supervisors and compliance officers work from the same record set.

What SCAL-D adds over SCAL-D:

Unlimited connected calibration stations across multiple sites

Multi-user access with shared visibility

Centralized compliance reporting across the whole fleet

Operates within your network firewall — no cloud dependency

Multi-year license with scalable seat structure

If your operation runs more than a handful of stations or you need supervisors and auditors to see calibration status enterprise-wide, SCAL-N is the right starting point.

GIS360

Live Leak Survey Data Collection, Mapping, & Reporting

Best for:

Natural gas distribution operators, contractors and survey teams performing mobile or walking leak surveys.

GIS360 is SENSIT's gas leak survey and detection software for collecting, mapping and reporting on natural gas leak detection data. Compatible SENSIT instruments stream survey data live into GIS360 as the survey is happening — letting the software run its leak detection algorithms on the spot, in the field, rather than after the fact.

Why on-the-spot matters:

Unlike cloud-only platforms that require survey data to be uploaded and processed remotely before a leak report can be issued, GIS360 processes data locally in real time. Surveyors see indications immediately, can re-walk or re-drive an area without waiting for a back-office turnaround, and leave the field with a complete, defensible record.

What GIS360 delivers:

Live streaming of methane and gas concentration data from compatible SENSIT instruments

Real-time, on-device leak detection algorithms — no round-trip to the cloud required

Automatic GPS mapping of survey routes, indications and coverage gaps

Auditable, regulator-ready leak reports and a multi-year license

Built for both mobile (vehicle) and walking surveys

If you currently use a competitor platform that holds your survey data in the cloud before issuing a report, talk to us about migrating to GIS360 and bringing that data — and that decision-making — back in-house.

SYNC-IT

The Next Generation of SENSIT Instrument Management (In Test)

Best for:

Forward-looking operators who want a single platform for calibration, instrument identity, datalogs and fleet management.

SYNC-IT is SENSIT's upcoming gas leak detection software platform — a unified successor to SCAL-D and SCAL-N for new installations, with significantly expanded capability. SYNC-IT brings calibration data, instrument IDs, instrument datalogs, firmware and fleet records into a single connected environment.

What SYNC-IT is designed to do:

Replace SCAL-D and SCAL-N for new SENSIT customers with a single, modern platform

Unify calibration records, instrument identity and datalogs in one place

Provide deeper insight into instrument health, usage and fleet performance

Scale from a single workshop to a global operation

SYNC-IT is currently available to test customers only. Existing SCAL-D and SCAL-N users will continue to be supported. If you'd like to be considered as a test customer or be notified when SYNC-IT becomes generally available.

SENSIT CONNECT

Cloud Data Portal for Emissions Monitoring

Best for:

Operators of SENSIT SPOD, RAMP and other emissions monitoring instruments who need dashboards, alerts and a data API.

SENSIT Connect is our cloud-based data portal for emissions monitoring devices including the SENSIT SPOD (VOC fenceline monitoring) and SENSIT RAMP (multi-pollutant air quality platform). It's an entry-level dashboard and reporting tool designed to get sites monitoring and reporting fast — with the room to grow into more demanding compliance workflows.

What SENSIT CONNECT delivers:

A clean dashboard showing live and historical data from your SPOD and RAMP devices

Configurable alerts and notifications when concentrations exceed thresholds

Direct API access for teams running deeper reporting workflows — including Colorado Regulation 7 fenceline compliance

A foundation for own-endpoint deployments: send data to SENSIT Connect, your own data lake, or both

Annual or multi-year license options

In line with our Own Your Device, Own Your Data philosophy, SENSIT Connect is a starting point — not a walled garden. Customers running advanced reporting pipelines can pull their data straight from the API into their own systems.
